Textos Literarios para las secciones españolas en Italia II

It is the second volume of an educational publication designed to support the teaching of Spanish literature within Italian academic contexts. This edition expands the series by introducing a curated selection of 19th-century authors and texts, accompanied by a theoretical framework shared across all Spanish sections in Italy.

Commissioned by the Spanish Ministry of Education in Italy, the project builds upon the first volume, ensuring continuity while extending the pedagogical scope of the collection.

Results

A coherent and well-defined editorial system that improved clarity and readability across complex literary content, while ensuring visual consistency with the existing series.

Specifications

203-page editorial publication including literary content and author biographies. Designed for both print and digital formats. The digital version includes an interactive index for improved navigation. Built in Adobe InDesign, the layout accommodates a mix of text, images, and simple tables within a structured editorial system.

Title set in Proxima Nova for a clean, contemporary hierarchy, contrasted with Garamond for body text to enhance readability and reference the literary nature of the content.

A 60–30–10 color distribution was used to establish visual hierarchy: a dominant neutral base, a secondary supporting tone for structure, and a bold accent color for emphasis and navigation.
