Hi! I’m Sara,
a graphic and editorial designer with experience across the public and education sectors.
I work with institutions that need to transform complex information into clear, coherent publications aligned with their mission.
My approach combines strategy, structure and visual sensitivity to create reports, guides, policy documents and educational materials that strengthen institutional credibility and enhance the reading experience.
I bring a 360° perspective through my dual profile as both designer and published author, with short stories recognised in literary competitions.
El mundo estudia español 2022. Edición especial, décimo aniversario
The idea was born from the need to create a publication that could capture ten years of history, along with the spirit of the international Spanish language education programs promoted by the unit. The design approach was guided by three key principles: youthful, fresh, and creative.
El mundo estudia español 2024. Traducciones
Editorial layout project for the biennial publication “El mundo estudia español. Traducciones”. This edition compiles the adapted translations of the “El mundo estudia español 2024” reports into the languages of the 37 countries where the External Educational Action is present.
Feria AULA, 2023
The project included a series of printed materials designed for distribution during the event: diptychs, triptychs, a poster, and bookmarks. Each piece followed a color system representing the different departments and programs, creating a clear and cohesive visual identity across the materials.
Event Stage Design
Design of the stage backdrop and lectern for the official presentation event held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation of Spain. The visual approach was deliberately simple and discreet, keeping the focus on the speaker while ensuring visual coherence with the editorial identity of El mundo estudia español.
Verdes Trigales, 2024
The project’s illustrations are inspired by the drawings of poet Rupi Kaur, combining expressive ink textures to define the chapters with delicate linework in the illustrations. This contrast creates a visual rhythm that guides the reader through the publication. The design approach was guided by contrast, simplicity and delicacy.
Roll-Up Design for together.eu
Promotional roll-up designs created for European Parliament’s volunteer initiative together.eu, aimed at encouraging citizen participation. Rather than adding unnecessary text, the design approach used the organization’s own logo as the central call to action.
